I started as a solo artist singing and playing guitar, harmonica and mandolin about 20 years ago as a hobby and soon got involved in the music scene. After playing solo for a few years I got involved in several duo’s in local pubs and restaurants.
I was in a resident duo for 5years at the famous music restaurant in the King’s Road, Chelsea “The Big Easy”, and until recently I was lead singer with the duo “Rattlemac”. Playing rock “with a twist” is how we liked to describe what we did.
Recently I was involved with a 3 piece Jazz band called “Bailey’s Cat” playing Jazz guitar singing and harmonising alongside the female vocalist. When Bailey’s Cat disbanded I got the part as lead singer for the Newz, a 7 piece rock band based in Essex. Due to distance and other commitments I had to give this up at the beginning of the year.
Recently I have recorded some of my own songs for my first solo album which is now available to purchase!
My musical influences include The Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd, Paul Weller, The Kinks, Budgie, Thin Lizzy, The Faces and many more.
